Tolbert 2.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><em><strong>Election is Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dec. 10, 2015<\/p>\n<p>What do the candidates think about spending $4 million in public funds to destroy and \u201crestore\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.savebuffalobayou.org\/?page_id=539\" target=\"_blank\">one of the last natural stretches of Buffalo Bayou in Houston<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>What do the candidates think now in light of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.savebuffalobayou.org\/?page_id=2056\" target=\"_blank\">failing banks of Buffalo Bayou Park<\/a> downstream, a signature $53.5 million project long touted by the Harris County Flood Control District and that park\u2019s landscape designer SWA Group as a model for what should be done upstream in Memorial Park?<\/p>\n<p>We asked them. And if they did not respond to our email, we called them today (Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015) to make sure that they received the email and asked again for a response.<\/p>\n<p>The runoff election is Saturday, Dec. 12.
